The engagement and participation of grassroots women, women organizations, and gender experts in the climate finance process, from design to decision-making, implementation, and monitoring, remain limited.

Frameworks and policies now exist that articulate gender consideration and uphold stakeholders’ engagement in climate finance for all the public climate mechanisms; this shows the need to create awareness and build the capacity of the relevant gender stakeholders.
