The environmental and social impacts of development projects are under growing global scrutiny. As countries like Nigeria transition toward low-carbon and climate-resilient economies, Environmental Assessment (EA) becomes central to sustainable planning and green growth.

With recent assessments by the African Development Bank highlighting key gaps and opportunities in Nigeria’s Environmental & Social (E&S) systems, this course empowers practitioners and policymakers to align EA processes with global best practices, while building national capacity and institutional coherence.
