Natural Eco Capital in collaboration with the Osun Waste Management Agency (OWMA)conducted a training programme for Recyclable Waste Collectors and Aggregators in Osun State at the State Secretariat, Oshogbo on the 5th of November, 2019.
The aim of the training event, which was graced by the presence of Hon Commissioner of Environment, the Chief Whip of the State, Zonal Director, National Environmental Standard and Regulation Agency (NESREA) and the host the event, Chairman of tOWMA was to equip participants with knowledge and skills for sound waste collection, aggregation and basic recycling and related activities as well as contribute to improved solid waste management in Osun State.
The programme also exposed the participants to the business case of waste recycling and aggregation.
