3-Day Capacity Building Workshop for SMEs and Financial Institutions

Natural Eco Capital in partnership with African Development Bank (AfDB), and Fund for African Private Sector Assistance (FAPA) organized a 3-day virtual capacity building workshop for the SMEs and Financial Institutions in Africa October 6-8,2020.

The training discussed and engaged participants on a newly developed toolkit for screening of their activities. These newly developed instruments are designed to promote the integration of climate actions into private sector operations at the AfDB level and at the level of other financial institutions (FIs) across Africa. They are also prepared to enable SMEs to identify incremental costs of climate measures that are eligible for climate /finance at scale and encourage them to proactively pursue climate action.
